Do you have solid experience in commercial insurance and are you looking for the next step in your career with a growing, independent brokerage? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join our friendly and ambitious team at Plan Insurance Brokers.
Joining us means you’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm (no weekends), earning a competitive salary of £35,000–£40,000 OTE, with the opportunity to earn 15% uncapped commission on new business. What does the role involve?
As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing your own book of commercial clients, acting as their main point of contact and building long-term relationships based on trust and expertise.
Your day-to-day role will include:
1. Broking and negotiating renewals, ensuring accurate and competitive cover
2. Identifying and maximising cross-sell and upsell opportunities
3. Handling client enquiries from start to finish with a professional, solutions-focused approach
4. Working closely with insurers and underwriters to secure the best outcomes for clients
