CNC Machinist - 3 & 5 Axis £35 Umbrella | Tues-Fri | 07:30-18:30 We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading composites team in an F1 Team, working on carbon components, patterns, jigs and tooling. You'll be responsible for setting up, machining to drawing, and carrying out in-process self-inspection to ensure high-quality, right-first-time results. What you'll be doing: * Setting up and machining carbon components, patterns and jigs on 3 & 5 axis machines * Working to drawings and following job-pack instructions * Liaising with engineering/TPP teams to resolve issues and improve processes * Carrying out in-process inspection and maintaining accurate shop-floor data * Ensuring smooth handovers across shifts and maintaining tooling standards * Following H&S, quality and company standards at all times What we're looking for: * Recognised apprenticeship or relevant CNC machining experience * Strong 3 & 5 axis machining background * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Good knowledge of materials and machining practices * High attention to detail, proactive approach and strong team communication If you're a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work and wants a solid Tuesday-Friday shift, this is a great opportunity.
