Maiden Marc is currently working with a highly specialised retained executive search firm to add two profiles at the Senior Associate and Principal-level to their small but growing team in London, covering the US, UK and Central Europe.
Fully retained and operating at the C-Suite (CIO, CTO, CDO, CPO, CDAO, CISO) and 'Head-of' level, our client is hyper-focused on Tech, Data, Digital, and Cyber as a product, sector-agnostic across their client base and is on its way to become the 'go-to' name in the industry for these verticals.
This product-specific approach is deliberately designed to give headhunters with technical knowledge of these sectors the opportunity to build a market across any client base they choose while being able to leverage the firm's broader candidate relationships at any time.
The Roles
With the Senior Associate role focusing purely on retained delivery, and the Principal role acting as a gateway to business development, there are several paths that candidates can progress down.
Someone from the Associate role can pursue a long-term dedicated delivery track or receive genuine support to progress into a traditional, fee-generating Principal/Partner role. Those at Principal can either go down a traditional Partnership billing route, focus exclusively on BD, or build their career into a more client management-centric position.
The Firm
As a result of this flexibility, the business is being set up differently from other firms in the market, positioning itself to reward all members of the business for the true value that they add to the firm rather than focusing on paying senior Partners first.

Ideal Candidates
For these roles, we are looking to speak to candidates who have four to ten years of recruiting experience and a deep product knowledge across one of their core pillars - Tech, Data, Digital or Cyber Security.
This could be from a retained competitor looking to join a firm with a pure specialism in these products, an internal recruiter seeking a more commercial delivery role, or a high-quality contingent recruiter looking to transition into the retained space.
