Duties and Responsibilities for the Chassis Convertor: Modify and convert vehicle chassis to meet specific customer or manufacturer requirements Carry out chassis extensions, shortening, reinforcements, and structural alterations Fit subframes, crossmembers, mounting brackets, and body supports Read and interpret engineering drawings, build sheets, and technical specifications Perform cutting, welding, drilling, and fabrication work to a high standard Install mechanical and electrical components required for chassis conversions Skills and Qualifications for the Chassis Convertor: You will need to have previous experience as a Chassis Converter A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
