Overview
They\'re a 14-year-old teenager who\'s getting ready to leave hospital and head home with their mom in Sheffield. They enjoy keeping themselves busy by attending theatre groups, reading books at the library, going to the park and baking a variety of food. To help them on this important journey, we\'re looking for kind and caring Personal Assistants to join their care team. Your role is to support building meaningful relationships through engaging in their interests and activities.
Responsibilities
* Attend a meet and greet and shadowing sessions at hospital before discharge.
* 3 months\' care experience.
* Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling.
* Clear communication skills.
* Support the client with daily living tasks and personal care as appropriate.
* Engage in activities aligned with their interests (theatre, reading, parks, baking) to build meaningful relationships.
