Location: Leicester • Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time • Salary: £35K
Regional Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Leicester, who are looking to add a CAD/ CAM Programmer to their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Create accurate CAD/CAM flat pattern drawings in line with client's requests
* Use flat pattern drawings to create CNC programs for laser machine and press brake
* Produce folding instructions and drawing for operators
* Monitor and document any changes to CNC programs
* Clear and concise drawing control
* Generate and maintain records of CNC programs
* Review and modify existing programs to improve efficiency
* Provide excellent customer service and develop rapport with clients
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
* Experience of CNC programming or a relevant CNC Programming qualification
* Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet metal design experience)
* Ability to read and create CAD drawings for manufacturing
* Good mathematical skills
* Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office and CAD / CAM software
* Good attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy & a commitment to quality
* Able to work on & use own initiative & problem solve
* Strong communication, team working & people skills
* Demonstrate a professional & courteous attitude
* Positive attitude to innovation & change
