The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our Front Of House team. This role combines front-desk reception duties with diverse tasks such as being the face of Norton, moving motorcycles, and delivering goods to various departments. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and comfortable with physical tasks.


Duties/Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
2. Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently
3. Manage and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
4. Maintain the reception area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable
5. Provide support for office facilities, such as ordering office supplies and ensuring office equipment is maintained
6. Support the management of office-related databases, including visitor logs and meeting room bookings
7. Act as the first point of contact for guests, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that queries are addressed promptly
8. Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, this can include supporting our parent company
9. Liaise with the fleet team and departments to ensure timely delivery of goods coming into the business
10. Maintain an organised system for managing inventory and deliveries for cross-departmental enquiries


Personal Specification

1. Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front-of-house role is preferred
2. Be willing to go above and beyond for the best Norton Customer Experience
3. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
6. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, email management)
7. Flexible to support the Business Office Function and other departments
