Interaction Designer (SC Cleared) - Remote/UK - £540 - £600 Per day Inside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a government digital delivery team. You will design simple, accessible, user-centred interactions that help citizens complete tasks efficiently and confidently. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will shape end-to-end user journeys, create intuitive interfaces, and ensure services meet the GDS Service Standard and accessibility requirements.
Essential Skills:
* Active SC Clearance
* Strong experience designing digital interactions for user-centred services.
* Proven ability to work with the GOV.UK Design System and deliver services aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
* Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows using modern design tools.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
* Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
