Overview
Day Surgery role for individuals who are empathetic, caring and compassionate. You will be reliable, self motivated and able to work as a member of the team, assisting all staff in the daily running of the day surgery unit and providing high standards of care to patients pre and post surgery. Previous experience in a health care setting is desirable, although orientation, training and supervision will be provided. Basic IT skills are beneficial.
The Clinical Support Workers work as part of the team with the supervision of registered practitioners to provide effective, safe patient-focused care at all times.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of the care environment with a positive, professional attitude.
* Contribute to the maintenance of daily provision of service and care to meet the individual needs of patients and the department.
* Support the smooth running of the department and ensure patients, relatives and carers are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Ensure that policies and guidelines are adhered to.
* Work as part of the team under the supervision of registered practitioners to provide effective, safe, patient-focused care at all times.

Qualifications
* Previous experience in a health care setting is desirable, though orientation, training and supervision will be provided.
