Job Description
Remedy International Medical are working with an established hospital in Bermuda, which is a British Overseas Territory to recruit a qualified and highly motivated Clinical Manager within the Inpatient (Mental Health) Services Directorate. Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe patient care and maintaining operational aspects of patient care in collaboration with other service areas within MWI and BHB, as well as with the community.
Situated in the North Atlantic, with a sub-tropical climate, beautiful beaches and aquarium-like waters, and plenty of sandy coves, if you love the outdoors, this could be the island for you.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Defining the strategic action plans for their department
2. Offering clinical expertise and leadership in the specialty of Acute Inpatient Mental Health Services in carrying out the strategic direction and service development
3. Collection and preparation of department statistics
4. Assuming acting responsibilities for administrative coverage for other Managers and their own Director
5. Developing new departmental policies and procedures in accordance with hospital guidelines, regulatory bodies, and best practices
