We are seeking a team of skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Operators to join our clients production team. The role requires precision, manual dexterity, and a strong understanding of mechanical processes.
This role is fully supported with training and with a view to a permanent job after qualifying probationary period
Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assembly Operator
Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints and specifications.
Perform functional and quality checks on assembled components to ensure proper fit and operation.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Work to established quality and safety standards, including the use of PPE.
Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues, escalating problems as needed.
Assist in the testing, calibration, or packaging of finished products.
Requirements of a Mechanical Assembly Operator
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
