We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRO Engine Repair Planner based in Leighton Buzzard to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the MRO Engine Repair Planner role
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the MRO Engine Repair Planner
Plan and coordinate engine repair and maintenance projects across multiple locations.
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each repair cycle, providing regular progress updates and technical reports.
Schedule and oversee all repair activities, ensuring resources, materials, and tooling are available to meet project deadlines.
Monitor project milestones and performance metrics to ensure on-time delivery.
Prepare cost estimates, review invoices, and manage associated documentation.
Support production teams with accurate planning, scheduling, and forecasting of workload.
Review and audit technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Gather customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements for a successful MRO Engine Repair Planner
Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 and UK CAA regulations.
Previous experience in gas turbine maintenance, either hands-on or in a planning capacity.
Proven background in production control, resource planning, or operations within an MRO or engineering environment.
Understanding of Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) procedures.
Experience with internal audits and compliance processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
