A fabulous opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and dynamic Staff Nurses to join our District Nursing Team at the Gorton Hub in Central Manchester. Full and part-time applicants will be considered.
Manchester/Trafford Local Care Organisations bring together NHS Community Health Services and adult social care services in Manchester and Trafford. As Integrated Neighbourhood Teams we are driven by the aim of improving the health of local people in Central Manchester by working across organisational boundaries.
As a Registered General Nurse, you will be required to work as part of our District Nursing Service to provide complex care to adults in their own home and in a variety of settings within the Community.
Responsibilities
* Provide complex nursing care to adults in their own homes and in community settings as part of the District Nursing Service.
* Work closely with GP Services and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams to ensure coordinated patient care and a positive impact on patient outcomes.
* Demonstrate professional leadership skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
* Develop and apply clinical skills with ongoing training and personal development opportunities.
Development and Progression
Great development programmes are in place for progression to Band 6 and opportunities for further education leading to Community Specialist Practitioner qualifications.
