Citadel Source are supporting a well-established Hospitality brand in the appointment of an Assistant Management Accountant.

About you

You will be a hands-on, driven individual with a strong work ethic, taking pride in achieving both your own and team goals. You will be committed, enthusiastic, and an excellent communicator, able to work effectively as part of a team. You will be AAT-qualified or a CIMA/ACCA student, with strong Excel skills. You will also be collaborative and willing to support the wider business on ongoing improvement projects.

The role

The Assistant Management Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager, sharing responsibility for ensuring that accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders. You will support the delivery of monthly reporting requirements.

As an Assistant Management Accountant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparing the VAT and IOSS reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of year end and audit file
• Assisting with the budgeting and reforecasting process
• Support monthly and annual reporting requirements
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
• Supporting the Finance Manager and assisting with any other ad hoc queries or task
