About the Role
As a Physical Education Teacher, you will:
* Teach KS3 and KS4 PE, delivering engaging and inclusive practical and theory lessons
* Plan and deliver high‑quality sessions aligned with the national curriculum
* Monitor student progress and provide supportive, constructive feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development and department resources
* Create a positive and energetic learning environment that promotes participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
* Lead or support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of PE curriculum standards
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* Ability to drive is preferred; otherwise, reliable public transport links are essential
