Valley Care Direct are looking for 4 local Community Care Workers in Matlock.
Role Overview
You’ll provide life‑changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.
Working Hours
* Mornings 7am-3pm
* Evenings 4pm-10pm per week
* Alternative weekends
* Part‑time and full‑time available
Job Description
* Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
* Help service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and personal equipment.
* Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
* Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
* Support with administering medication.
* Contribute as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* No previous experience necessary, but must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and commitment to delivering high‑quality, respectful care.
