About The Role
We are currently recruiting for both full-time, permanent and seasonal Greenkeeper Helper positions. As a Greenkeeper Helper, your key responsibilities will include:
* Taking on a variety of tasks throughout the season to keep our course in top condition
* Spending most of your time outdoors maintaining the grass by switching and brushing, repairing divots, mowing banks, and renovating turf
* Preparing the course for daily play by placing tee markers, maintaining bunkers, and ensuring golf course furniture is well-kept
* Operating and helping maintain lawnmowers, tractors, and other course equipment, as well as preparing machinery for regular use
* Prioritising health and safety by following safe work practices, wearing appropriate footwear and clothing, and reporting hazards as they arise
* Being part of a friendly, hardworking team that values teamwork, professionalism, and a shared passion for greenkeeping
About You
Skills & Experience
* Some greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience is desirable, though we warmly welcome candidates with a strong passion for the industry and a willingness to learn
* Experience operating or maintaining outdoor machinery such as lawnmowers or tractors is advantageous
* A full, clean driving licence is desirable
* Flexibility to work weekends when required
Personal Attributes
* A genuine interest in greenkeeping and a keen eagerness to develop your skills within a supportive team
* Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently when needed
* A love of the outdoors and an appreciation for golf and well-maintained courses
* A keen eye for detail and a pride in delivering high-quality work, however large or small the task
