SALARY: from £24028.80 pa dependent on experience LOCATION: One Delaware Drive, Milton Keynes HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role. HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Two roles available: Full Time Permanent - 35 hours per week, Part Time Permanent, 32 hours per week CLOSING DATE: 02/02/2026 We reserve the right to close the advert earlier If we receive a high volume of applications. We’re looking for a Remarketing Specialist to play a key role within our Remarketing department - allocating vehicles to the appropriate sales channels and maintain control over the vehicles from de fleet to eventual sale. This varied role will be instrumental in delivering support to the department, taking ownership of own workload as well as providing guidance and technical support within the team and the wider business as required. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of teams across VWFS to ensure seamless operations and effective collaboration to ensure returning vehicles are managed in a compliant manner. Prioritise and action activities in the Remarketing Vehicle Disposal System to maintain full control of assets from de-fleet to arrival in storage. Management of the stock monitoring tool ensuring vehicles are worked on a daily basis to ensure that any problematic vehicles are processed through to disposal efficiently. Oversee the management and control of unsold stock across all sales channels as directed by Remarketing Management. The goal is to minimize the time taken to sell the vehicles, thereby optimising sales efficiency and reducing holding costs. Investigate and resolve post-sale vehicle claims from the franchised network and independent traders is a key responsibility. The role requires demonstrating confidence and balance when making business decisions to ensure suitable resolutions are achieved, maintaining customer satisfaction and trust. Manage and control stock levels and stock age at storage and selling sites. The role includes initiating movement instructions against required sales channel volumes, maintaining stocking day targets, and ensuring a minimum number of vehicles are on hold. This helps in optimising inventory levels and ensuring timely availability of vehicles for sale. Attend collaboration sessions with suppliers to maintain relationships and support continuous improvement. Manage the mailboxes for inbound queries from multiple channels for Operations, Resolutions, Auctions and Salvage What You’ll Bring You’ll be experienced within the automotive industry and have in depth knowledge surrounding VWFS products. You’ll have a focus on managing your own workload and supporting the wider team in a proactive way.
