Programme structure
Year one
* Begin your postgraduate diploma.
* Work directly with children and families in a local authority, supported by experienced tutors and practice educators.
* Receive a tax-free bursary of £18,000–£20,000 to support living and travel costs.
Years two and three
* Step into a paid role as a newly qualified social worker (starting salary up to £34,000, with higher pay in some London boroughs).
* Continue your studies towards your master’s degree
* Become part of the Frontline Fellowship, a national network offering career-long support, development and opportunities.

As a children’s social worker, you’ll:
