Job Title: CQC Registered Manager Location: Tiverton, Devon Salary: £45K Contract: Full-Time, Permanent We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and driven CQC Registered Manager to lead and manage a 5-bed residential home for young people in Tiverton. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership, providing a nurturing and safe environment. This role requires British Sign Language (BSL) Level 3, a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, and ideally a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong, compassionate leadership to the care team and ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently. Ensure the home complies with all CQC regulations, standards, and requirements. Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with staff, families, and other professionals. Promote a child-centred, therapeutic approach, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social development of each child. Lead regular audits, safeguarding checks, and regulatory visits to maintain full compliance. Manage staffing, rota planning, supervision, appraisals, and staff development. Liaise effectively with external professionals, including social workers, educators, and healthcare providers. Be responsible for the overall operational management and financial performance of the service.
