CAD Design & Estimating Technician
Hybrid Working | £25,000 – £30,000 | Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-driven CAD Design & Estimating Technician to join a growing team. This role involves producing compliant technical designs, schematics, and layout drawings, while working closely with engineers, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate CAD drawings, schematics, and layouts.
Support design and estimating activities across multiple projects.
Ensure designs are compliant with relevant standards.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements.
Provide technical input during tendering processes. Skills & Experience:
Proven CAD design experience (AutoCAD essential; Revit desirable, training provided).
Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation.
Confident communicator with strong collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Qualifications:
Relevant technical qualification in design, engineering, or building services.
Certification or training in CAD; BIM knowledge advantageous. Benefits:
