Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham for a Civils professional. The role involves managing and executing civil engineering projects for telecom infrastructure, including rooftop installations, greenfield site developments, and streetworks. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing plinths, steelwork, cable management, LP systems, pull testing, brickwork, and building works. The role also includes conducting excavations, compound fencing, ducting installations, and full build phases for telecom networks.
Qualifications
* Experience in rooftop projects: plinths, steelwork, cable management, LP systems, pull testing, and brickwork
* Experience in greenfield projects: RC bases, compound fencing, steelwork, cable management, gabion baskets, and brickwork
* Skills in streetworks: full build phases, cabinet swaps, ducting installations, trial holes, slip trenches, and reinstatements
* Knowledge of construction and telecom infrastructure standards and practices
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in civil engineering or related fields
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
