About the Role
As an Experienced Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering short-term, therapist-led interventions that prevent, reduce, and delay the need for ongoing services. Youll work closely with customers, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to design creative reablement plans, assess needs, and provide equipment and adaptations that enable independence.
What Youll Do
* Undertake complex occupational therapy assessments and create tailored support plans.
* Manage a varied caseload, including challenging cases, and provide guidance to colleagues.
* Recommend and oversee home adaptations and specialist equipment.
* Deliver professional supervision and support to team members.
* Work collaboratively with health professionals, voluntary sector partners, and families.
* Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met in line with legislation and local policy.
About You
Were looking for a qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with:
1. At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
2. Excellent knowledge of health, housing, and social care legislation.
