Recruitment Lead – Grade 8, Permanent
Position: Recruitment Lead at Prospere Learning Trust. Grade 8, permanent, 35 hours per week, full‑time salary £41,771.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the Trust’s recruitment strategy remains relevant, up to date and continues to meet operational needs while aligning with Trust policies, legislation, safer recruitment and good practice requirements.
* Promote innovation in all areas of recruitment, including an enhanced use of data to support evidence‑based decision making across the Trust.
* Lead, develop and support HR administration and communication colleagues to provide exceptional service to recruiting managers and candidates, design and deliver effective campaigns that attract candidates and support positive employee engagement, and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant HR or business qualification, ideally accredited in job evaluation.
* Substantial experience in managing recruitment and selection processes and advising on HR policy, particularly within the school sector.
* Strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures, employment law and best practice, including teachers’ and support staff terms and conditions.
* Experience of creating a positive candidate experience, using media, communications and social media platforms to attract and engage candidates.
* Proficiency in recruitment and HR systems to produce accurate reports that support evidence‑based decision making and continuous improvement planning.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all sectors of the school community and external stakeholders.
* Capability to assess implications, articulate risk and apply a pragmatic and commercially sound approach to resolving operational and strategic issues.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom; no sponsorship of visa applications.
