MET Technician required in Liverpool
1. Monday–Friday 08:30 am - 17:00 pm
2. Closed Weekends (Overtime available if wanted)
3. Salary-Circa £39,500 (DOE) + Bonus! Circa £43,000 OTE.
My client who runs a busy accident repair centre in Liverpool is looking for an enthusiastic and hand-working MET Technician to join their team. Mainly Trim, Strip & Fit.
About this MET Technician / Panel Beater role:
4. Diagnosing faults in vehicle systems, both mechanical and electrical, and carrying out necessary repairs.
5. Performing vehicle inspections to assess damage and ensure vehicles meet roadworthy standards.
6. Repairing and replacing damaged parts, such as bumpers, spoilers, lights, and trim components, as well as mechanical elements like clutches and gearboxes.
7. Using diagnostic tools to identify faults and complete repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
8. Working closely with other technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs, maintaining productivity and adhering to deadlines.
9. Ensuring safety standards are met and that the vehicles are properly repaired, tested, and ready for the road.
To be considered for this MET / Panel opportunity, you will have:
10. Experience in MET / Panel
11. Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
12. Ideally, you will be ATA qualified or NVQ level 3.
13. Be able to effectively communicate with colleagues.
14. Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify mechanical and electrical faults in damaged vehicles
15. Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged or faulty parts, including mechanical, electrical, and trim component
