Responsibilities
* Set up and distribute medications according to physician's orders.
* Participate in total resident care, including developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans addressing physical, psycho/social, legal, and spiritual needs.
* Provide 1:1 interaction with residents.
* Contribute to resident programming and participate in resident orientation.
* Document changes in programming and care plans regularly.
* Attend mandatory educational programs and participate in intrafacility committees as assigned.
* Maintain consistent attendance; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Must have a CMA certificate from an accredited program (provide certificates).
* Preferably, at least two years of experience in human services, mental health, gerontology, or related fields.
* Health examination and TB test at employment start and as required by Iowa regulations.
* Pre-employment drug testing; comply with drug-free workplace policies.
* Valid Iowa Driver's License or ability to obtain one shortly after employment.
* Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company standards; carry current automobile insurance.
