Creative Director (Motion & Video) | Hands-On | Temp to Perm
We are working with a leading B2B marketing agency delivering high-impact creative for global technology brands.
They're looking for a hands-on Creative Director who leads from the front, someone who can set the vision and stay close enough to the work to ensure it's genuinely exceptional.
This is a temp to perm opportunity, ideal for a senior creative who enjoys shaping ideas, influencing clients, and actively contributing to output, not just overseeing it.
The Role
You'll take ownership of all motion and video output across the agency, elevating quality, defining direction, and ensuring every piece of work is strategically sharp and creatively distinctive.
You'll be heavily involved from the outset, pitching, presenting, and building senior client relationships, while guiding projects from concept through to delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
* Setting the creative vision and narrative direction across motion and video
* Leading ideas from concept to final delivery with hands-on oversight
* Presenting work and confidently defending creative decisions to senior stakeholders
* Acting as a trusted creative partner to clients
* Mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary team (motion, edit, film)
* Overseeing production and post-production to ensure consistency and quality
* Balancing creative ambition with commercial reality
What They're Looking For
* Proven agency background, ideally within B2B or tech-led environments
* A strong, up-to-date showreel demonstrating:
* Clear creative thinking
* High-quality motion and video execution
* Strong storytelling and direction
* Comfortable being client-facing at a senior level
* Experience leading and growing creative teams
* Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
Key Requirements (Non-Negotiables)
* You must be hands-on, this is not a purely oversight role
* You must have a current showreel or portfolio showcasing relevant motion and video work
* Strong understanding of modern production workflows, including emerging and AI-assisted creative
Technical Capability (Indicative)
* Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro
* Understanding of motion and video production pipelines from concept through to delivery
* Ability to step into projects when needed and guide output at craft level
