The Team
As a Treasury Sales Associate (TSA) in GPS’s EMEA Large Corporate Sales team, you will partner with Treasury Sales Officers (TSOs) on daily sales processes and support the delivery of integrated treasury solutions to existing and prospective UK large corporate clients, managing and growing revenue within assigned portfolios.
The product set includes international Cash & Liquidity Management, Transactional FX, Merchant Acquiring Services, Commercial Card and Trade Finance solutions, foundational to the bank’s most successful relationships.
You will influence peers, identify the next steps in treasury management, and coordinate client acquisition and relationship deepening through research, planning and proposal development.
Responsibilities
* Support all activities from sales through implementation, coordinating the Client Management Process (CMP) from origination to execution.
* Partner with product specialists and utilize support partners to coordinate strategic projects and develop strategies on behalf of senior management to grow revenue and deal flow.
* Conduct industry, client and prospect research to create proposals and pitchbooks for pre‑call planning.
* Create price and cost‑benefit analysis models for pricing strategies, including working with TSOs on non‑standard pricing.
* Support clients through implementation, onboarding and training activities.
* Participate in in‑person calling activities and ad‑hoc direct sales opportunities with TSOs.
* Prepare materials introducing new ideas, capabilities and solutions to clients and prospects.
* Maintain and log information about the execution of the client contact strategy.
* Ensure the accuracy of sales data within source systems (deal pipeline, client plans, call reports and other tracking systems).
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with demonstrated results.
* Experience in a similar transaction banking/Corporate Banking position or Implementation, Client Service and/or Product background.
* Ability to deal with clients and stakeholders.
* Customer‑centric focus and promotion of a culture of compliance.
* Advocacy and influencing skills to resolve client queries.
* Demonstrated business acumen and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
* Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Teamwork ethos with the ability to tackle multiple activities within a working day.
* Adaptability and willingness to learn.
* Tenacity and drive to see tasks through to completion.
* Fluency in English required; other relevant language skills highly beneficial.
