About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting business efficiency on projects through the application of the company management systems. To support the assurance activities necessary for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and operation of the project execution plan.
* Report on the effectiveness of the project quality system.
* Assist project staff in preparing documented information required by the project.
* Report on suitability of subcontractor and supplier quality systems.
* Ensure the correct numbering and issue of quality management system documents.
* Monitor the implementation of the quality system documented information.
* Assist with the preparation of site procedures, activity plans and assurance records.
* Contribute to the project programme of audits.
* Co-operate with staff and customer representatives to ensure that problems of quality are solved promptly and efficiently.
* Report monthly on the current status of the project systems, concerns, etc.
* Carry out other relevant duties from time to time.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting the planning, implementing, monitoring and improvement of quality management systems in relation to site activities.
* Membership of, or working towards, a related professional body.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Proficient in the application and use of information technology.
* (Desirable) Awareness of digital construction applications, platforms and practices.
* (Desirable) Degree level qualification or equivalent technical qualification.
* (Desirable) Experience of working in construction project delivery.
Due to the nature of the work and location, additional security checks will be required – a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and have been a UK residence for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.
