The Role As an Architectural Technician, youll be instrumental in producing technical design packages for residential developments. Youll collaborate with architects, planners, and construction teams to ensure every home meets the highest standards of design, compliance, and buildability.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for planning and construction.
Liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve design and technical queries.
Ensure all designs comply with UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and NHBC standards.
Contribute to the development of standard house types and site layouts.
Support the design team throughout all project phases, from concept to completion.
What Were Looking For
Experience in residential architecture or housebuilding.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
