As a Maintenance Support at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring all checks are complete and a safe environment for residents, team members, and visitors, while maintaining a high quality of service within the home.

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on its surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of vegetables.

Our newly refurbished café is available to residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee, and cakes daily.
About the role:
The Maintenance Support will work closely with the Maintenance Operative to manage and ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all residents and employees, working with wider teams to provide strong leadership and inspiration, ensuring the highest service standards are achieved.
Salary:
£12.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern:
35 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location:
Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the decoration of the home is to the highest standard and snagging items are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Ensure that all minor repairs and plumbing are fixed promptly.
* Responsible for the maintenance of the refuse area and the removal of clinical waste and rubbish from the home.
* Ensure that all electrical equipment and the boiler house are maintained and repaired if required.
* Overall responsibility for carrying out weekly, monthly, and annual tests of the equipment and systems within the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience in a similar maintenance role is essential.
* Competent in Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent written, non-verbal, and verbal communication skills.
