Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Basingstoke
We are currently recruiting for a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a commercial site in Basingstoke for a facilities maintenance client.
1. Rate: £20 per hour (PAYE)
2. Pay: Weekly
3. Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
4. Contract: Ongoing temporary position with the view to permanent
5. Site: Static commercial environment
Role Overview:
The engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance
7. Fault finding and repairs on commercial electrical systems
8. Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
9. Complete relevant paperwork and reports
10. Liaise with site management and other engineers when required
Requirements:
11. Recognised electrical qualifications
12. Previous experience in a commercial maintenance environment
13. Valid DBS check – essential
14. Ability to work independently on a static site
