Health & Safety Administrator Meridian Business Support are in partnership with a local Oil and Gas Company based in Grimsby. They are recognised as a world leading Hose Manufacturing business supplying to all major oil and marine companies worldwide and due to an increase in orders, they are now looking to recruit additional members to their Health and Safety team on a temporary contract. The ideal candidate will be working within a busy health and safety department focusing on the reduction of work place injuries. Key Responsibilities: Identifying potential hazards from the use of industrial knives and documenting within a risk assessment. Developing strategies to minimise risks. Reviewing best practice documentation and capturing all agreed working techniques within such documentation. Reviewing suitability of current tooling. Assessment of current PPE arrangements and formalising requirements throughout the business. Regular inspections to check adherence to risk control measures. Review training material and define key learning outcomes. Toolbox talks and training. Essential Skills: Proficient in MS office packages Problem solving skills Effective communication Risk assessment Strong administration skills Pay Rate: £12.21per hour Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
