The Role – Graduate Trainee Teacher (Nutrition)
As a Graduate Trainee Teacher – Nutrition, you will train full-time in a London secondary school, supported by experienced mentors and specialist trainers.
You will:
* Teach Nutrition and Food Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to support related curriculum areas where appropriate.
* Gradually increase your teaching responsibility through a structured and supported training programme.
* Receive weekly pedagogical training focused on classroom practice and effective teaching strategies.
* Develop strong behaviour management and lesson delivery skills.
* Support practical food preparation and nutrition-based learning activities within the classroom.
* Work closely with experienced teachers and senior leaders.
* Be fully prepared to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within one academic year.

Ideal Candidate
