In a return we offer salary of £47,689 - £55,939 plus up to 10% bonus (~ £5,593), Car Scheme (Company Car or Car Allowance ~ £8,475), Private Healthcare, Company Pension (10% ER), 25 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, and benefits catalogue.
Total Package at the time of joining up to £70,007.
We'll help you progress and develop yourself further, and will support you with creating a development plan to achieve that.
What will you be doing?
The more efficiently our sites work, the better they are for the environment, as well as our business. Whether a facility is creating compost from waste, processing / recycling waste or generating energy, you’ll provide the technical support to ensure it is working at maximum capability. You’ll tackle operations, maintenance, and improvement projects to support the site management teams. You’ll also make sure we’re working to the highest industry standards and help with detailed analysis to identify where changes need to be made.
As an EC&I Technical Plant Engineer as part of the Suez R&R UK Technical Team you will be expected to assist in breakdown recovery, optimisation project delivery and continuous improvements projects along with ensuring that we comply with all legislation, relevant standards, best practice and company Asset Management Standards. The role will be supporting all Suez R&R UK Business Units by providing Electrical, Control and Instrumentation engineering support.
This role can be based from any of our Processing or Energy Recovery facilities.
This role will require a frequent travel with some overnight stays.
What will you need, what can you gain?
Safety and best practice are priorities for us, So we need an Engineer (or someone working towards Chartership) with the confidence and knowledge to uphold both of these objectives. To make the grade, you must have worked in a processing, manufacturing, power or heavy engineering industry before and dealt with environmental legislation and management systems. You should also have a relevant degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a Management discipline plus experience of project management.
