Key duties for the Aftersales Advisor include:
8. Acting as the main point of contact for customers post-sale, handling inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence
9. Managing and resolving a wide range of post-sale issues, including warranties and service plans
10. Liaising with dealerships to investigate and resolve reported problems
11. Communicating clearly and professionally with all parties regarding case progress and outcomes
12. Reviewing diagnostic reports and discussing technical issues confidently with technicians and service advisors
13. Applying mechanical knowledge to assess faults and identify signs of wear, misuse, or age-related deterioration
14. Maintaining accurate case notes and decision records
15. Supporting the customer journey in collaboration with sales teams and providing feedback to enhance aftersales processes
16. Escalating unresolved cases to the appropriate departments following company procedures
Candidate requirements for the Aftersales Advisor role:
17. Proven experience in automotive aftersales or a dealer-facing role preferred but not essential.
18. Good mechanical understanding of vehicles
19. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
20. Ability to challenge and negotiate confidently with customers and dealers
21. Organised with excellent attention to detail
