As the HGV Shift Technician, your main duties will include:
6. Carrying out routine maintenance on HGVs
7. Diagnosing and repairing various vehicle faults
8. Conducting necessary repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards
9. Completing accurate technical documentation
10. Assisting with vehicle inspections and quality control procedures
11. Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
Requirements for the HGV Shift Technician position:
12. Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
13. Strong diagnostic and repair skills on heavy goods vehicles
14. A recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
15. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
16. Ability to work efficiently under pressure
17. Flexibility to work the shifts as specified – 0600 to 1530 or 1330 to 2200, including Saturday mornings.
