About this RoleDawsongroup EMC provides specialist asset rental to local authorities, utilities and the construction sector. We’re looking for someone with prior experience in a similar role to help deliver and maintain high-performance equipment and ensure our customers stay up and running. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role based out of our depot, where every day brings something different. Assist with delivery and collection of sweepers, refuse vehicles, tippers, and other specialist assets Support customer inductions and site-based commissioning Carry out first-line maintenance, inspections, and safety checks Respond to customer issues, ensuring service is swift, safe and professional Keep detailed records of asset condition, movement and handovers About YouYou’ve worked in a similar field and understand how important reliable equipment is to frontline services. You're proactive, hands-on, and happy juggling varied tasks—sometimes at short notice. Previous experience in municipal, civil, plant hire or commercial vehicle roles Confident working with and around large machinery or specialist vehicles Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset A strong team player with the ability to work independently Safety-aware and comfortable with basic inspections or repairs Even if you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you.
