We are looking for an EHS Assistant to join our team in Chard, Somerset.
This is a new role for the site so an opportunity to grow and develop within this role!

The Role
As an EHS Assistant you will drive employee engagement in workplace safety, and health through education, coaching and recognition. You will facilitate near‑miss, injury/illness root‑cause investigations as well as conduct and manage the internal EHS audit requirements and procedures. You will represent the EHS Department as the point of contact for vendors and sub‑contractors. You will also support the Management Review Process and applicable KPIs/Reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous working experience within EHS in a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of EHS management systems, both ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 – advantageous but not essential.
* NVQ level 3 in Health & Safety – advantageous but not essential.
