Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Fleetwood, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established SEN Hub, designed to support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1 with a range of special educational needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within this specialist provision. The hub will cater to pupils with a variety of needs, including (but not limited to) Autism, Speech & Language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis within the SEN hub
* Assisting the class teacher and SENCo in delivering tailored learning activities
* Promoting engagement, independence, and positive behaviour strategies
* Creating a nurturing, safe, and structured environment for all learners
* Monitoring progress
