Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Tower Hamlets.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education.
The Role:
* Deliver 6-7 History lessons per week (KS3/KS4).
* Provide ad hoc English cover as required.
* Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations.
* Support students with diverse social, emotional and behavioural needs.
* Implement and manage Exam Access Arrangements, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations.
* Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
* Has experience working in a PRU, alternative provision or with vulnerable learners.
* Demonstrates knowledge and experience of Exam Access Arrangements.
* Is adaptable, calm and committed to inclusive practice.
* Has strong behaviour management skills.
