As a Digital Learning Coordinator, you will assist in the implementation, utilisation, and ongoing improvement of a range of learning technologies here at the Fire Service College, predominantly within our new state of the art Immersive Skills Lab (a purpose-built, fully flexible, technology-enabled learning environment). This role is critical to supporting the college's digital transformation strategy, enabling us to cement our reputation as a centre of excellence for specialist fire, rescue and resilience learning experiences Job title: Digital Learning Co-ordinator Job Description: What you'll be doing: Provide first-line technical support for digital learning assets. Upload, format, and maintain online learning content in the LMS. Monitor and resolve support requests promptly. Build and run reports in the LMS for stakeholders. Maintain AR/VR resources and ensure they are ready for lessons. Manage inventory of learning technology resources. Offer customer support for AR/VR equipment setup and use. What we're looking for: Proven experience in a similar learning technology support role Experience and practical understanding of Moodle LMS, AR/VR/Mixed Reality technologies Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and to deadlines Willingness to learn and develop skills within the role as more digital technology is adopted Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently Demonstrated ability and interest in operating a broad range of software applications and learning technology Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, developing and sustain good working relationships both internally and externally Able to offer proactive, informed and reliable professional advice and support to colleagues About Fire Service College: At Capita - Fire Service College we're training the next generation of firefighters to respond to any emergency and create a safer world.
