We are working with our nationwide charitable organisation, which is currently undergoing a period of change, and we seek an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team.
The HR Business Partner team takes a strategic lead on people management and organisational development to ensure the organisation has the right Culture, Capacity, and Capability to achieve its purpose.
The Senior HR Business Partner will manage a team of 2 HR BPs and will be responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy to foster effective relationships and people management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a regulated/unionised environment and be a proven strategic HR BP. This role is home-based with occasional nationwide travel; therefore, we are seeking candidates based in the East or West Midlands regions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and implementation of the People strategy
* Line management of up to two HR Business Partners, including performance management, absence management, staff wellbeing, and learning and development needs
* Driving collaboration across teams and departments
* Supporting the Head of HR Business Partnering and leading specific HR projects to deliver the People strategy
* Leading organisational change projects
* Managing union negotiations and relationships
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, particularly in organisational change within a charitable or care environment. You will have managed complex employee relations matters, including organisational restructures, TUPE transfers, and change management programs. Experience in managing a team is essential.
You should be a strong team player with an approachable and influential style to drive success within this ambitious HR function that maintains high standards. The candidate must be CIPD qualified and available to start immediately or shortly thereafter.
