Responsibilities
The role is for a Tutor / Teacher on a flexible, long term basis, delivering outreach, home tuition and alternative provision. The successful Tutor / Teacher will work 1:1 with pupils with SEND, SEMH, medical needs or those experiencing school refusal, requiring strong engagement skills, adaptability and a consistent, relationship-led approach. Planning and delivering personalised sessions tailored to each learner’s needs is essential.
Qualifications
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Strong experience working with SEND, SEMH or vulnerable learners
* Proven experience planning and delivering personalised 1:1 lessons
* The ability to build rapport and engage pupils in a 1:1 setting
* A child-centred, dynamic and adaptable teaching approach
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
