We are looking for Care Assistants to fill our vacant positions in Surbiton, Tolworth, Worcester, Chessington, Tadworth, Boxhill, Redhill, Epsom, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Bookham, Fetcham, Dorking, Horsley, Cobham, and Oxshott. Our Care Assistant role is challenging but rewarding for the right person. Our Service Users are aged 18 to 65 and above. They have a range of care needs from simple companionship to assistance with personal care and medication.

Job Overview
1. To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Care Assistant.
2. To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual.
3. To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge.

Responsibilities & Duties
* Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
* Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community, family, friends, and other important people.
* Follow care plans and other information on how to support Service Users.
* Inform the Senior Care Assistant of any changes in the needs of Service Users.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of those supported.
* Develop effective working relationships within the organisation.
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users.
* Be a role model and ambassador for the service.
* Maintain professionalism, politeness, and reasonableness at all times.
* Work within the Fundamental Standards and understand the regulatory framework, including CQC requirements.
* Commit to relevant qualifications and attend training as directed.
* Follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
* Be open to learning opportunities.
* Bring positive energy, compassion, and consideration.
* Possess a driving licence and car.
* Hold a care certificate.
* Salary: £26,832 per annum.
