Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8. This will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we’ve ever offered before. We’ll embark on a new kind of project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and sustainable urban drainage schemes.

To help us achieve our ambitious targets and deliver projects on time within budget, we’re looking for an Industrial Electrician to join the team.
What you will be doing as our Industrial Electrician
You will be part of our growing M&E team within the water industry within the @One Alliance. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new team and help influence and guide the team as it grows.
This role requires electrical equipment to be installed at Anglian Water clean water and wastewater sites, ensuring health and safety are always adhered to and issues are resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities
* Install electrical equipment for water treatment works (Anglian Water) to Barhale standards.
* Work with and contribute to risk assessments and method statements to ensure health and safety compliance.
* Work directly from drawings and scopes of work to a high standard.
* Be experienced in industrial installations, including steel containment, power, ICA wiring, telemetry, and fault finding.
* Fulfill customer targets, including working overtime when required.
* Mentor improvers and apprentices.
* Assist with commissioning and testing installations.
* Follow all company and client rules.
* Engage with management in planning, organizing, and delivering work.
* Assist site teams with materials and equipment requisition.
* Report site issues for resolution.
* Deliver projects within the framework, on time, and within budget.
* Willing to work away from home for short periods.
Key measures & targets
Measured on health & safety record, quality of installation, and delivery timeliness. Targets include proper planning, organized vehicles and kits, and professional conduct.
Career Progression
Opportunities to advance to roles such as Supervisor and LV Authorized Person, with training provided.

Candidate Specification
* Enthusiastic and ambitious personality
* Time-served electrical apprenticeship
* Experience in electrical installations in water industry
* CSCS/ECS Gold Card
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* C&G 2391 or equivalent
* Full UK driving license
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in teams
* Leadership qualities in health, safety, quality, and environmental obligations
