About the Role
We are looking for nurses to join our dedicated care home teams across the country. The role offers enhanced rates of pay that progress with your experience, alongside a wide range of company benefits.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the care of all residents in your area of the care home.
* Run the whole home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager.
* Follow up on resident visits related to ill health, administer prescribed medicines, and keep records to meet statutory legal requirements.
* Mentor and support colleagues, acting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and model professional behaviours.
* Advocate and deliver a person‑centred approach to care for residents and their families.
* Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise; undertake safeguarding training and provide appropriate advice and escalation.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in health or social care.
* Valid NMC PIN number and a commitment to professional standards set by the NMC.
* Passion for mentoring, teaching, and providing support to colleagues and students.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to role‑model professional behaviours.
