Product Engineer (Aerospace) - Tewkesbury - Permanent The Opportunity: We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering client for a Product Engineer / Senior Product Engineer to join their aerospace facility in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on, technically varied role supporting the full product lifecycle - from assembly and test to new product introduction and process development.This role is ideal for engineers with strong practical and analytical skills who thrive in highly regulated, technically demanding environments.Why my client?£45 million site investment with state-of-the-art facilitiesProfit share and employee share schemesSupportive career development and training programsFantastic benefits packageDiverse, inclusive workplace with a focus on wellbeing and innovationKey Responsibilities:Oversee and support the assembly and testing of aerospace components and systemsDefine and improve assembly and test proceduresLead activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI), including PFMEA and risk assessmentsTroubleshoot technical issues and provide day-to-day engineering support to productionIdentify and manage obsolescence challengesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and operationsPrepare and maintain technical documentation including control charts and process guidesEssential Skills:Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated engineering sectorsStrong understanding of NPI, assembly processes, and fault investigationFamiliarity with tools such as Mathcad, Minitab, or similarAbility to interpret and work with technical drawings and perform basic analysisComfortable supporting both hands-on and documentation aspects of engineeringDesirable Skills:Knowledge of servo valves, hydraulic systems, or flight control componentsExposure to automation in an engineering contextTeam & Culture:Join a highly skilled team with a wide range of engineering experienceCulture built on trust, collaboration, and strong community involvementSupportive environment with a focus on technical excellence and shared learningCareer Development:Opportunities to progress into senior technical or specialist rolesAccess to further training and academic partnershipsIf you're an experienced engineer looking to make an impact in a high-integrity aerospace environment, we'd love to hear from you.
