This role is within the Integrated Solutions business unit of the STS segment, focusing on engineering and project delivery in hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
The energy industry is at a pivotal point, transitioning towards sustainability and alternative energy sources. Our engineers are at the forefront of this energy transition, working on complex projects globally with some of the industry's brightest minds.
The Role
We invite lead mechanical engineers to explore opportunities with KBR. This role involves extensive interface with clients, project management, suppliers, and global teams. You will lead a group of engineers, plan and control project scope, budgets, and schedules, and ensure successful delivery of mechanical work. Candidates typically have experience in consulting or end-user companies.
What We're Looking For
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Chartered engineer.
* Experience leading mechanical teams on energy transition and petrochemical projects, including concept, front-end, and detailed design.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passion for innovative engineering.
* Knowledge of mechanical equipment types: static, machinery, packaged equipment.
* Familiarity with industry standards for energy transition or oil and gas equipment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions or sponsorship.
