The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join a successful and growing dealership business within the construction equipment sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships, generating opportunities, and developing a long-term career in sales. You'll play a key role in supporting retail growth by converting inbound enquiries into qualified sales opportunities and proactively engaging potential customers.
Responsibilities
* Sell a range of compact equipment solutions to new customers and small fleet operators.
* Proactively cold call prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
* Generate leads through outbound activity, digital enquiries, and marketing campaigns.
* Build and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
* Prospect and create demand within the local market.
* Respond quickly and professionally to inbound enquiries from website leads and marketing activity.
* Make outbound calls to follow up and progress opportunities.
* Identify customer requirements and arrange demonstrations or dealership appointments.
* Book qualified appointments for the external sales team.
* Maintain regular customer follow-up to maximise conversion opportunities.
* Update CRM systems accurately with customer interactions and next actions.
* Support digital sales activity including online listings, email campaigns, and social engagement.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
